I prefer deprecating the old file already in 0.12.0, so everyone using openocd release will be on the new file and we can quickly drop the old file.\n\nYes please, it would be nice to have this in rc2.\n\nOriginally I was convinced that the old rp2040-core0.cfg was sufficient for ordinary use and therefore I planned the new config for merging after release.\nI was wrong!\nAs Jonathan pointed out rp2040-core0.cfg was intended for a custom modded CMSIS-DAP which selects SWD multidrop target on its own - so the config cannot be used with any standard adapter as it lacks multidrop configuration.\n\nThat\u0027s why we should provide at lest a basic config for rp2040 in the upcoming release.\n\nIn the previous 0.11 we included nrf5 driver capable flashing nrf52 but failed to provide a target config for nrf52. 3-rd party created a weird workaround and we recently got the bug report\nhttps://sourceforge.net/p/openocd/tickets/356/","commit_id":"3b90958c64c97d642347f01e41b68d9f5220d70d"}]}
